The Clare Valley, one of the world’s premier wine-growing regions, is comprised of three parallel valleys, each showcasing a unique expression of terroir, influenced by variations in altitude, rainfall, and soil composition.

Although it spans a relatively small area, the valley's numerous sub-regions present distinct micro-climates that particularly favour varieties such as Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet, and Grenache. The variation in altitude, ranging from 250m to 550m, further contributes to the diversity of terroirs.
